Enrichment Clubs

Take advantage of St. David’s Episcopal Day School’s unique opportunities for educational exploration by enrolling your child in one of our specialized enrichment clubs which run in fall and spring sessions. To register, please fill out this form.

Morning Enrichment Clubs

St. David’s Episcopal Day School is pleased to offer two mixed age group morning enrichment programs that are open to our students as well as students not enrolled in our school.

Spanish Immersion Enrichment – The goal for our Spanish Immersion program is for children to learn preschool skills and concepts while being taught through the medium of the Spanish language. “Immersion” classrooms have proven to be provide a highly effective way to learn a foreign language.

“Mom’s Morning Out” – The purpose of this program is to provide an introduction to a preschool setting through socialization with peers, gentle separation from parents, and predictable routine. Children will nurture social/emotional, cognitive, physical, and language skills through various hands-on activities including: sensory play, learning centers, dramatic play, weekly art projects, themed lessons, stories, and songs.

Spanish ImmersionT/TH from 9:00 to 11:302 – 4 (must be toilet trained)$1,100 per session
Mom’s Morning OutW from 9:00 to 11:002 – 4 (diapers are permitted)$500 per session

Daily Lunch Bunch Option

We offer a daily option for those enrolled in our twos, nursery school, pre-K, or morning enrichment clubs to stay for “lunch bunch,” which includes lunch (brought from home), indoor or outdoor play, and story time. No advance registration is necessary.


11:00 – 1:00  – $20 per day.

11:30 – 1:00  – $15 per day.

Afternoon Enrichment Clubs

Beyond our morning programs, St. David’s Episcopal Day School offers a variety of afternoon enrichment clubs that allow children to explore a topic of interest in more detail. Afternoon enrichment clubs run daily for children and include “lunch bunch,” recess, snack, and learning activities centered around the club’s theme. Students may enroll in 1 to 5 clubs per week. Priority enrollment is given to students enrolled at SDEDS, however, afternoon enrichment clubs are also open to students not enrolled in our school (students may join at for lunch bunch or at 1:00). Students enrolled in our transitional-K and kindergarten join clubs at 1:30.

Options for two-year olds

Stay, Rest, and Play – Mondays through Friday 11:00 to 3:00 p.m.

This club involves lunch, quiet time and/or nap, play, stories, and self-guided activities.

Tuition: $525 1 day per week per session, or $2,300 5 days per week per session.

Options for 3 to 5 year olds*

*(Children 2.7 years – 3 years may join at teacher’s discretion)

Speak to Me in Spanish – Mondays 11:30 to 3:00 p.m.

Children gain speaking and social study skills through immersion in the Spanish language and culture.

Nuts About Nature – Tuesdays 11:30 to 3:00 p.m.

Children explore math, science, and art through hands-on experiences in our outdoor classroom.

Meals and Manners – Wednesdays 11:30 to 3:00 p.m.

Children nurture intellectual skills and build character through cooking and etiquette lessons.

STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math)  – Thursdays 11:30 to 3:00 p.m.

Children explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on lessons.

Artists and Authors – Fridays 11:30 to 3:00 p.m.

Children learn about famous artists and authors, and express themselves creatively.

Tuition: $460 per club per session, or $2,000 per session for all 5 clubs.

Extended Day Options

Early morning care: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. (games and supervised play in our gross motor classroom; mixed age group)

After-school program: 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. [partial hours available]

Includes outdoor recess, self-directed play, snack (brought from home), and recreational games.

Tuition: $15 per hour, or $50 for all extended hours per day.
